The People’s Republic of China is the third largest country in the world. It is located in Central and East Asia and borders with many countries, including Russia. From the east, China is washed by the waters of the Yellow, East China and South China seas of the Pacific Ocean.

Chinese culture is very ancient: the age of paintings of some ancient Chinese tombs exceeds 6000 years. Nowadays, traditional folk dances and music are alive. Movies, opera and theatre are very popular in China. The government encourages the creation of works of art about the successes of the Chinese people.
